July '17 Wrap Up

I was so sure this was going to go a lot better than it actually did. But I buckled up and snuck some more books in there at the end! Yay for me. (Sorry #sumtbrathon)

59 - Howl's Moving Castle (World of Howl #1) by Diana Wynne Jones - 4.5 stars
Why did I not love this as much the last time I reread it? I'm already feeling a keen need to reread...

60 - By Chance by Cat Grant - 2.5 stars
Mildly curious, but not enough. No review forthcoming.

61- The Star Thief by Lindsey Becker - 4.5 stars
A delightfully daring romp in steampunk airships with constellations come to life.

62 - Kiss Him Not Me v 10 by JUNKO - 1.5 stars
I'm not sure why I do this to myself. The story was tired with volume 9 already, and I keep hoping it will resolve soon, but it never does. It's a "reverse-harem" shojo story. Proceed with caution.

63 - Because You Love to Hate Me: 13 Tales of Villainy - 3 stars
Actually a shocking disappointment overall. Highlights include short stories by Cindy Pon, Nicola Yoon and Samantha Shannon.

64 - Lumberjanes: To the Max Edition v 1 - 4 stars
What have I been waiting for? What are you waiting for? Hop on! Click if you need reasons!

65 - Peter Darling by Austin Chant - 5 stars
Defintely one of the most touching stories I've read this year. Review forthcoming.

66 - The Tea Dragon Society by Katie O'Neill - 4.5 stars
A wonderful story for children and adults about tea, dragons and love.
